  • I decided to compete in a modelling competition in Canada against 120 other male & female models across the country, where I placed first in the runway category and received “Best in Runway” in 2016. “2016年加拿大超模”大赛,和来自全国的120位选手同台竞技,在”最佳台步奖“类获得第一名。

  • Captured by a journalist from the local Burnaby newspaper, I am on stage, mid-dancing, in my happy element. This was my second year in a row participating in Burnaby's Got Talent, representing Burnaby North Secondary.

  • This past summer I picked up golf again, as it is a great sport to keep socially distanced. It felt amazing to breathe in the fresh air and bond with my dad, while we enjoy the views of the course.

  • Though I have only spent one year galloping with my horsey at a stable in Richmond, I fell in love with the quirky personalities of horses. Here I am, grooming and feeding my ride! Gotta keep my friend happy so I don't get thrown off his back!

  • In grade 11 I was honoured to have been selected as 1 of 40 students in the Burnaby School district to be a participant in the AP Capstone program. The AP Capstone program is a two-year program that requires the completion of a thesis, a research project, and the completion of at least 4 other AP courses scoring a minimum of ⅗. This experience has helped me with my university degree as it honed my academic writing and critical thinking skills. I am very lucky to have been given this opportunity in high school.

  • I have been snowboarding since I was in grade 5 so in grade 12 I took on the challenge of participating in my school’s snowboard/ski racing club, where we go to Whistler every weekend to race against other snowboarders and skiiers in the district. That year I went up on the mountain 11 times and managed to come in 8th in the district! It was an exhilarating experience and definitely pushed my boundaries for some of my biggest fears (speed & height)!

  • I jumped out of my comfort zone and decided to participate in Sunshine Nation 2015. It was a special year as well where there were 8 girls as contestants, kind of like this year’s MCVP! I am super grateful for the experience as I was able to learn so much about the industry in a short two months and gain friends who I still come into contact with today. Behind this 1-second snapshot of me on stage is a giant production team that has helped me immensely throughout the process in the short two months. From Fairchild radio staff, to stage production team, to makeup artists, to sponsors, to my dance teacher, to my family, to my friends, and to so much more, it takes an enormous team to help me create the perfect stage to showcase my talent. I am forever thankful to be given this platform to collaborate with so many kind and generous people.

  • Baby Ariel trying to master the smize... My first ever modelling test shoot in grade 10.

  • Action shot at a Surrey high school hip hop competition! Our theme was James Bond and here we are, jamming to a Dubstep remix of Skyfall.

  • In grade 10 I moved to a new high school, but I still loved to dance with my friends so I started another dance team where we competed around high school hip hop competitions around Lower Mainland. This was my little family before and after school, where sometimes we would rehearse for as early as 7am on a school day for that next performance!
